An Enzyme Facial is a professional exfoliating treatment that uses naturally derived enzymes to help break down dead skin cells and surface buildup.
Enzymes are often derived from fruits and botanicals such as papaya, pineapple, pumpkin, or other plant sources. The specific enzyme used and the strength of the treatment can be customized according to your skin's condition.

What Can I Expect During the Facial?
Professional Cleansing
We begin by thoroughly cleansing the skin to remove makeup, oil, and surface buildup and prepare the complexion for the treatment.
Compresses
I don’t use steam in my facials, so instead I do a round of hot towel compresses to soften the skin. The water is infused with MSM, Magnesium, and Baking Soda to help skin soften and get prepped for extractions. Hot towels allow for full face coverage unlike a steamer where it is usually on one side of the face. Most people cannot handle/don’t like the sensation of steam anyway! Hot steam on the skin feels nice but think of a hot shower, the skin post shower immediately feels tight and dry, this is the worst condition to have your skin right before extraction.
Exfoliation
A customized exfoliation helps remove accumulated dead skin cells and surface buildup, leaving the skin smoother and preparing it for the next steps of the facial. Options include Enzyme Refresher, Charcoal Microfoliant, Apple Aha (professional product) or a combination.
Extractions
If your skin needs extractions, this is where we spend the time. I carefully work through areas of congestion to remove blackheads, whiteheads, and other superficial impurities.
